Slot car chassis wheelbase
If you fancy converting a static kit to a slot car you will need to find a chassis. Below I have listed some of the more common slot car chassis with the wheelbase, plus where known the distance across the rear bearing mounts (just because it's the right wheelbase doesn't mean it's narrow enough!) Chassis will probably require trimming for width and/or overall length.
Figures are taken from manufacturers data where available or by direct measurement, they are as a guide only and are not guaranteed! Try to borrow a chassis to check its suitability before parting with hard cash! Where I have suggested a use it is not necessarily the best (or easiest) fit but is pretty close to correct.
This list is a little out of date but I will try to add more entries as I get newer cars. If you know of any chassis that are a particularly good fit in specific bodies please let me know and I will try and include them
